An Introduction To The Authors

A “short” introduction to the Author-Teachers who made this volume possible was originally planned to be a part of what is now called the Preface. However, the material each Author asked to be included, to give you a “feel” for their personality, their focus, and their perspective, expanded things enough that it became more practical to defer that information to a stand-alone section, here.

I must confess to feeling inadequate to this task. You'll see why as we get going here. Nevertheless, introduce them I do, individually, these Elder Brothers and Formidable Authors of the Part II writings – writings which, for those of you who may be unfamiliar yet curious about such things, were "received” mentally, in a manner you could call “inspired writing".

The messages were written down as “heard” by several scribes who prefer to remain anonymous. These otherwise-quite-normal people would be the first to say: "It is the message that is important, not me, the scribe; I just hope I heard correctly what the Author tried to impress upon my mind during the writing process.” Well, as one who deals with assessing such material on a daily basis (along with evaluating output from the more usual methods of written and spoken information flow), these writings speak loud-and-clear for the “high fidelity” quality of that which was received.

Meanwhile, for you skeptics of such a communication process, let me pose the following question: “Who cares?” Let's assume a certain measure of objectivity on the part of anyone sincerely searching for answers in these troubling and turbulent latter days of the 20^th century. Therefore, for YOUR own peace of mind, honestly ask yourself: “Who cares WHERE the messages came from – so long as I get something helpful, to think about and/or act upon, out of them?!” That's the bottom line: discern the message!

Now, “Who are these Author-Teachers?” you ask, maybe with some curiosity. Let me try to “briefly” introduce each as best I can. Where appropriate, and upon their instructions, I have utilized selected passages from some of the early Phoenix Journals, and occasionally from other sources, to help convey the flavor of each personality.

The challenge here is partly a matter of what has long been kept hidden from the public (by those dark ones who would hope to control this planet) about our rightful place in the universe in which we live. Imagine being told all the while you were a child that you were an orphan with no family – and then later finding out you belonged to quite an impressive family. Well, it's now time to meet some of the relatives!

I have grouped the Contributors to this volume into two categories. The first group are those I think of as coming from the realms of “Central Upper Management". That phrase will make a lot more sense when you see who They are. The second group are dedicated Teaching Masters often called the “Rainbow Masters". These ones hail from the Higher Etheric Realm and each specializes with a particular focus (and thus “color") of intent.

So – let us begin with the group that I respectfully, if irreverently, refer to as “Central Upper Management” and who refer to themselves, using Earth-based terminology more familiar to the average person's vocabulary from centuries of religious indoctrination, as: God and (some of) His Heavenly Hosts.

Now that the first group of Formidable Contributors to this volume, who come from the realm of “Central Upper Management“, have been introduced, I now turn to the second group, the seven “Rainbow Masters” or Color Ray Energies from the higher etheric teaching realms. These Beings are most often associated with facilitating our development along their particular direction(s) of talent or focus (and thus “color”) of intent.

As Esu Sananda strongly suggests in the Foreword to The Rainbow Masters Phoenix Journal:

“Oh yes, man of Earth, heed well the gracious words of wisdom from these Teachers of the Seven Rays of Life, for they have come to see this journey through. They shall be known to the faithful as wonderful; they shall be known to thine enemies as death.... Each has a realm of Truth that you might have instructions and Light of function, for you will need to rebuild and become in wholeness once again.... Each represents a Fragment of the Whole and bears witness to The Truth in guideship for you ones upon the planet Earth. They are magnificent cohans [teachers] who will respond at a moment’s call and you must come into comfort, one with another, that our journey can be made in perfection, each with his own contribution....

”THESE TEACHERS (COHANS) OF THE RAYS OF LIFE...ARE YOUR MOST CLOSE GUIDES AND INSTRUCTORS. YOU WILL PLACE THEM WITH THE ARCHANGELS FOR LEVEL OF STATURE, FOR THEY ARE THE MASTERS HAVING ASCENDED. THEY SIT AT THE HIGHER COUNCIL WITH MICHAEL, GABRIEL, URIEL, ZADKIEL, JOPHIEL, MARONI, MURU, KUTHUMI, RAPHAEL, QUETZALCOATL AND OTHERS OF THE ELDER RACES OF WHICH I SHALL NOT NAME THEM ALL, FOR IN MOST INSTANCES THEY WILL NOT BE YOUR CLOSEST GUIDES, FOR THEIR PURPOSE AND SERVICES VARY.

“DO NOT BECOME STAGNANT WHILE TOYING WITH THE ENERGY POSSIBILITIES. YOU WILL KNOW WHO IS YOUR GUIDE, OR SENDS GUIDES. IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO SPEND OF VALUABLE TIME IN SUPPOSITION. THE ENERGIES ARE COMING EVER CLOSER AND CLOSER INTO YOUR PROXIMITY AND SOON YOU SHALL NOT MISS OF THEIR PRESENCE.”

Also in The Rainbow Masters we find a short, but typically comprehensive, statement by Aton about these magnificent Teachers:

“The Brotherhood of the Seven Rays are your mentors, and man’s individuality comes under the forces of the great Seven Rays of Life. One is guided by the powerful forces at work within these Rays. Each and all flow into conscious life upon one of these Rays, and your life experience is influenced by the Ray through which you descended.”

What has been most noticeable about the teachings of these great Ray Energies is the way they have extrapolated, in their writings herein, the seemingly little challenges of everyday life into major spiritual lessons. They continually point out how the surmounting of these so-called “everyday” challenges leads to greater clarity of purpose, greater responsibilities, and greater joy from fulfilling one’s part as the hands and feet for the unfolding manifestation of Creator Source in the physical realm of planet Earth. It is just this magnificent Big Picture that we most often tend to lose sight of, in our preoccupation with the day-to-day details of living. If we could more easily see the true value that each “little” challenge presents, we would view them more often with the open-eyed enthusiasm of children, say, first learning to walk or tie their shoes.
